This home is currently under construction
Designed as a forever home for a family of four, this residence prioritizes the creation of multiple spaces for gathering and family life. Each living area was conceived to encourage rituals of togetherness while maintaining a balance between openness and intimacy.
Set on a narrow 30-foot lot in the Pacific Palisades, the project required a departure from conventional development patterns. By forgoing a front-facing garage, the design establishes a more gracious street presence, allowing the architecture to stand on its own terms. The constraints of the site became an opportunity to rethink traditional massing, carefully adjusting proportion and rhythm to achieve a home that feels both timeless and distinct.
Architectural elements — pitched gables, painted brick, and shuttered openings — recall familiar traditions, yet their composition is studied and restrained. The result is a residence rooted in classical language, reinterpreted for contemporary family life: warm, private, enduring, and timeless in spirit.
