It was a true privilege to be entrusted with a subtle exterior remodel of a residence originally designed by the legendary California architect Paul R. Williams. A towering figure in American residential architecture, Williams brought a timeless grace to his homes—defined by elegant proportions, intuitive layouts, and a rare ability to make even the grandest spaces feel deeply personal.

As admirers of his work and his enduring impact on the built environment, we approached this project with deep respect for the original vision. Our involvement included a kitchen expansion and a carefully considered exterior addition—an intervention designed to feel entirely at home within Williams’ architectural language. We also contributed light interior refinements, always with the intent to preserve the quiet elegance and spirit of the original design.

The goal was not to reinterpret, but to listen—and to build upon his legacy with humility and care.
