Provence Villa Construction Update

Tucked away in the heart of Brentwood, our Provence Villa is a remodel we’re especially honored to share—a home with a story that spans decades. Once owned by Angela Lansbury, this single-story residence is now being thoughtfully reimagined in the spirit of French Provençal architecture.

The clients envisioned a retreat from the everyday, so from the outset, materiality became an extension of the lush greenery—a design approach that celebrates the tranquil nature surrounding the property.

Our vision has always been to create a home that feels both timeless and effortless, rooted in the romance and quiet beauty of the South of France.

Provençal architecture is defined by its organic materials and refined details in conversation with nature: stone-clad exteriors, terracotta roof tiles, and lime-washed walls that softly reflect the afternoon sun. Every element is intended to evoke ease and connection, making the home a sanctuary for gatherings, moments of stillness, and daily rituals.

As construction progresses, we remain focused on honoring the craftsmanship and natural materials that define the region—prioritizing authenticity and an atmosphere of understated elegance.

For us, the true spirit of Provence is not just found in the architecture, but in the feeling it brings: a seamless blend of comfort, beauty, and a lasting sense of identity.

Now, mid-construction, you can already feel the delicate atmosphere and the abundance of warm light that fills the home—setting the tone for what’s to come.

It’s a pleasure to work on a project filled with so much attention and care, embracing the timeless charm and poetic air of the Provençal countryside—right here in Los Angeles.
